Nine residents of a historic building dating from the Wilhelminian era in Frankfurt’s Westend neighborhood—ranging in age from 14 to 89—share their life stories on camera. The patrician mansion, which was converted into apartment units after the war, brings together a distinguished microcosm whose quality of life and cautious optimism have endured to this day.
