The Girls on Film

2010–· Drama

Have you ever wondered what your favorite movies would be like with women playing the leading roles instead of men? The Girls on Film project explores just that. We take famous movie scenes between men from iconic films in modern cinema and recreate them with women. Helmed by actor/director Jeff Hammond and actress Ashleigh Harrington, The Girls On Film delivers a fresh perspective on the remake culture that has dominated Hollywood in recent years. Imagine Captain Kirk (Star Trek) as a woman. Or Anton Chigurh (No Country For Old Men). How about the cast of Twilight gender swapped: female Edward and Jacob fighting over a male Bella. The Girls On Film realize these intriguing visions in pristine cinematic quality. Each episode stars Harrington along with a new guest-starring actress.
