Kodomo, Hoshii Ne

1990–1990· 23 min· Drama, Comedy, Family

This comedy drama centers on the married couple—Urara Kubota, a DJ played by Yuki Kudo, and her husband, Kazuo Kubota, a landscape gardener played by Hiroo Otaka. Since the wife is a DJ, there are many scenes where she reads listener messages sent to her radio show, and the story often begins with these moments. Set against the backdrop of everyday life that could happen anywhere, the story—woven together through lighthearted conversations—creates a unique world that defies any specific genre.

Cast: Youki Kudoh, Hiroo Ôtaka, Koki Mitani
